Jessica Biel has been struck by a case of the notorious ‘baby brain’ since welcoming her second son.
However, it seems having another little boy to fuss over has affected Jessica’s ability to remember her simple tasks like many new mums have found.
Jessica, 38, was taking part in the Television Critics Association Winter 2021 virtual panel to promote her new series, Cruel Summer, when she accidentally forgot to answer a question.
She then joked that she’s got a touch of ‘baby brain’ at the moment.
It was revealed last summer that Jessica and Justin, 40, had added another little addition to their family – they’re already proud parents to five-year-old son Silas.
Justin confirmed the news to Ellen DeGeneres months later and said: ‘His name is Phineas and he’s awesome and he’s so cute and nobody is sleeping, but we’re thrilled and couldn’t be happier. Very grateful.
The couple have been particularly private about their family life since Phineas’ arrival but Justin did share: ‘It’s a lot of fun but I guess the saying goes, “Go from a zone defense to a man-to-man very quickly”.
‘“You go get that one, I’ll get this one”. But it’s great and Silas is super excited. Right now, he’s very much liking it but, you know, Phin can’t walk yet or chase him down, so, I don’t know, we’ll see what happens.’
Cruel Summer will be Jessica’s first piece of work since giving birth and she serves as an executive producer.
The series is set in a small Texas town when a popular teen, Kate, is abducted just as another girl, Jeanette, goes from being a sweet, awkward outlier to the most popular girl in town and later, the most despised person in America.
It’ll star Olivia Holt, Chiara Aurelia and Barrett Carnahan but a premiere date is yet to be announced.
