Not content with taking on the fashion world and being part of her family TV series, the model turned her hand to the alcohol business, and is already winning awards and competitions with the tipple.
Little else is known about Kendall’s tequila in terms of where we can grab some or even the price tag – so hopefully she spills the beans soon.
Unveiling the new must-have drink on Instagram, the 24-year-old said: ‘For almost 4 years I’ve been on a journey to create the best tasting tequila.
‘After dozens of blind taste tests, trips to our distillery, entering into world tasting competitions anonymously and WINNING (🥳) ..3.5 years later I think we’ve done it!
‘This is all we’ve been drinking for the last year and I can’t wait for everyone else to get their hands on this to enjoy it as much as we do! @drink818 coming soon.’
We can’t wait to get our hands on a bottle.
818 is the latest in a very long line of celebrity alcohol brands – with Cara Delevingne, George Clooney, Nick Jonas and Kate Hudson also on the hype.
But where can we pick up some of the most renowned celebrity spirits and tipples?
Cara Delevingne, Della Vite prosecco – from £19.99
Cara made sure it was a family affair when she embarked on a boozy business, joining sisters Poppy and Chloe to create their very own prosecco brand last August.
Della Vite is available to buy online and at selected shops around the UK, including Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Fenwicks, as well at some of the swankiest bars in London.
Cameron Diaz, Avaline wine – $24 (£17)
Cameron Diaz teamed up with entrepreneur Katherine Power to launch a clean wine brand, introducing us all to Avaline. According to the website, they are ‘delicious wines with organic grapes. Transparently produced, full of natural goodness, free of unnecessary extras.’
Unfortunately, Avaline isn’t yet available to buy in the UK – but watch this space.
Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt, Miraval rose – from £13.99
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt debuted their Miraval rose in 2012, with the first batch of 6,000 bottles selling out in just a few hours.
Despite splitting four years later, the former couple still own the Provence estate, and have kept up their wine brand, with Brad working on a Miraval champagne rose last year.
Bottles of the popular wine are available to buy from Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason, Amazon and Iconic Wine online.
Kate Hudson, King St. Vodka – $29.99 (£21)
While many celebs have thrown their name behind wine and tequila, Kate Hudson decided to tackle the vodka market, changing our nights out with gluten-free King St. Vodka.
The official website states: ‘Kate Hudson wanted to create a spirit for every experience; one that represented quality and fun, and is perfect for toasting all of life’s most celebratory occasions, or simply enjoying a cocktail with a good friend.
The spirit isn’t yet available in stores in the UK, but can be purchased online from her site.
Post Malone, Maison No. 9 rose – £16.99
Post Malone switched things around by whipping up his very own French rose after flying to a vineyard in Provence – as you do. He has already got a famous fan base, with Justin Bieber and Kylie Jenner said to love it.
Bottles of Postie’s rose are like the drink equivalent of gold dust, and are very hard to get your hands on, due to their popularity. If you fancy trying your luck, bottles are available from Maison9Wine in the UK.
Nick Jonas, Villa One Tequila – from £40
The youngest member of the Jonas Brothers dipped his toe into the alcohol market in 2019, launching tequila brand Villa One, in collaboration with the Stoli Group.
Cellar Trends was reportedly set to launch Villa One in the UK last year, but it’s not clear if this is still going ahead. Until then, bottles are available to purchase through the official website.
Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, Dos Hombres mezcal – £69.99
Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul met on the set of Breaking Bad and it’s clear their bond didn’t just end when the show finished in 2013 – with the pair joining forces to launch a mezcal brand, Dos Hombres, in 2019.
In the UK, Dos Hombres is available through Master of Malt, and in Selfridges stores, with the site stating we should ‘expect apple, mango and wood notes smoothed with smoke’.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Teremana Tequila – from $32.99 (£23)
Not content with being a legend in the ring and on the big screen, Dwayne Johnson stormed into the drinks market in 2019, releasing hand-crafted tequila that he spent years beavering away on.
Announcing Teremana on Instagram, he informed us all that ‘TERA is meant to represent ‘Terre’ which means of the earth and MANA is our powerful Polynesian spirit that guides us.’
Similar to Post Malone’s wine, bottles of Teremana Tequila are like gold dust, and sold out almost instantly online.
George Clooney, Casamigos tequila – from £45
George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman founded Casamigos in 2013, and it quickly became one of the most popular tequila brands in the world. While the brand was sold in 2017, for a rumoured $1billion (£721m), they have remained close to the venture.
If you fancy a shot or two, Casamigos is available to buy on Amazon.
