Olly Alexander has shared his amazing story of meeting Rihanna during the ‘best night of his life’ on the Graham Norton Show.
Speaking on Friday’s programme, The Years and Years star spoke about getting to know the musical icon during his previous appearance on the show, saying he almost ‘blacked out’ with excitement.
On the first Graham Norton Show of the New Year, Olly said: ‘I actually blacked out. I don’t even remember the experience of being on [the show].’
He added: ‘I just remember launching myself over Helena Bonham Carter to touch Rihanna.’
The makers of the show also showed a picture of Olly and Rihanna together taken at the time – and Olly is all of us as he beamed from ear to ear.
‘It was the best experience ever [and] she smelled amazing,’ he added.
The show featured Oscar-winner Regina King, comedian and chat show host Jimmy Fallon, actor Anya Taylor-Joy, singer and actor Olly Alexander, comedian Mel Giedroyc and singer- songwriter Yungblud all appeared on the show.
Meanwhile, Olly admitted on the show he won’t be watching his upcoming TV show It’s A Sin with his mum, as it features ‘some very intimate moments’.
Jimmy also revealed that he was once almost booed off stage in a London comedy venue for being American on the same episode.
The Graham Norton Show airs on Fridays at 10.45pm on BBC One.
