The cast of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off blessed fans by having a little Zoom reunion and we’re over the moon.

Stars Matthew Broderick, Jennifer Grey, Alan Ruck and Mia Sara appeared on the season finale of Reunited Apart With Josh Gad, reigniting our love for the ’80s teen classic.

Released in 1986, the comedy follows Ferris (Matthew) as he skips school to hang out with his friends and get up to no good.

Of course, host Josh went straight to the point and asked Matthew to revisit his classic line from the movie.

‘Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t look around once in a while, you might miss it,’ the star finally recited from memory.

Considering Matthew and Alan haven’t seen each other in 15 years, the two continued on like there wasn’t a day apart.

The cast recounted fond memories of the show with Alan, Mia, Lyman Ward and Cindy Pickett revealing the two youngest Bueller family members were cut from the movie.

‘If you look in the kitchen scene, their drawings are still on the refrigerator,’ Cindy – who played the mother, Katie – noted. ‘Kindergarten drawings.’

The reunion even had Ferris Bueller superfan Jake Gyllenhaal appear to ask the cast trivia questions.

The end of the series ended with stars including Molly Ringwald, Andrew McCarthy, and Steve Martin giving fans what they want by delivering iconic lines from director John Hughes’ movies.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Michael Keaton, Jane Krakowski, Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Jon Cryer, Chevy Chase, Laurie Metcalf, Beverly D’Angelo, Alison Porter, and others also made cameos.

Their reunion was done to raise money for CORE (Children of Restaurant Employees) – a charity which provides financial relief when a food and beverage employee with children faces a health crisis, death or natural disaster.

At the time of writing, the cast raised $8,400 (£6,800).
