Ross Kemp left viewers a tad confused after he was spotted wearing a face mask with a hole in it during his latest hard-hitting documentary.
The 55-year-old actor investigated what it is like living with a painkiller addiction as he spoke to people whose lives were severely affected by the addiction.
The former soap star was even reduced to tears during the ITV documentary, titled Ross Kemp: Living With Painkiller Addiction after he met up with chemist Brian Reid.
Discussing how lethal the drug can be, the 70-year-old turned his attention to his daughter Lydia, who died five years ago after taking a fatal dose.
Sherry Flatt also opened up to Ross about her morphine addiction, which began when she received painkillers after suffering from back pain 20 years ago.
However, some viewers were left distracted when Ross spoke to one interviewee while wearing a mask with a clear plastic strip showing his mouth.
One tweeted: ‘Why has #rosskemp got his mouth exposed?’
Another commented: ‘WTF Ross. That mask is pointless.’
While one added: ‘Why has Ross Kemp got his mouth exposed?’
‘Please God, don’t let Matt Hancock see this,’ another tweeted.
